 Programming Contest - Allowed Resources

Our contest allows teams to bring one language reference manual that must be pre-approved by the Contest Chair. Any requests should be emailed to Curt Jones before the contest.

The following is a list of Language Reference Materials that have been approved for use at the contest. The contest chair will have a copy of the C++ reference books available during the contest. The documentation will be available in electronic form.

C++ References

1.      STL Documentation similar to Standard Java Documentation -- Download the contest version here for  practice.

2.      The C++ Programming Language by Bjarne Stroustrup,  published by Addison Wesley. Any edition.

3.      C++: The Complete  Reference by Herb Schildt, published by Osborne / McGraw Hill. Any edition.

Java References

1.      Standard Java Documentation will be available electronically.

2.      The Java Language Specification by James Gosling et al, published by Addison Wesley. Any edition.
